Base Metal Clay – Beginners – Level 1

CHRISTMAS  SPECIAL                        A great opportunity to make some beautiful jewellery items or a gorgeous ornament for yourself or to give as a special Christmas present to a loved one.                                **//**                                                  This is a two day class due to the long firing schedules of base metals. Some basic experience of working with silver metal clays necessary.

In this class we will cover the same techniques as used with  silver metal clay but using bronze clays.                We will be making various pieces using various techniques such as planning and designing your pieces, rolling, texturing, using a mould, fire in place stone setting and creating a bail suitable for your piece.

For your safety please bring closed shoes and something to tie your hair back if it is long.

Please bring light packed lunches for the two days. Teas, coffees, mineral waters and biscuits will be served during the course.                  To book alternative dates please contact the Studio. Thank you.
