Silver Clay –

9.30am to 1.30pm
This class is an introduction to silver metal clay.
We will be making a small piece to experiment this wonderful material. Release your creativity and create a beautiful design.
Suitable to all levels and we will be using these processes:
- The nature and properties of silver and other metal clays, how to condition the clay and how to keep it moist and ready to use.
- Introduction to all tools and their uses.
- The various stages to create a piece of jewellery:
- Clay stage, use of texture mats, drying processes, refining techniques, firing and polishing.
Class starts at 9.30am and finished at 1.30pm.
Price includes 7g of .999 silver clay, other materials and use of Studio tools.
More clays available to purchase at the Studio should you want to make more items.
Teas, coffees and biscuits will be served all through the session.
SAFETY- Please bring a hair clip for your hair for when we will be firing your piece. Closed shoes are also required.
